WELCOME TO BANNER MOUNTAIN POST

Banner Mountain Post - Nevada City, CA
Located less than 1/4 mile from downtown Nevada City, we are the only VFW post in Nevada County California. VFW Post 2655 is a vibrant and welcoming group of veterans representing every war and conflict since World War 2 to the Global War on Terrorism. Our member's spouses and children routinely join us on Friday nights as we celebrate our common bond of service to America, which binds us forever.

We are dedicated to supporting the veterans of the surrounding areas through activities throughout the year. We host several family friendly activities throughout the year including camping, boat days at the local lakes, fishing trips, and range days at the local gun club. We take pride in our members who happily volunteer their time and bodies to split, haul, and stack firewood so our aging and disabled veteran neighbors are able to weather the cold winters without stressing about this physical task.
